Craig Durr: I'm so excited, I actually found a moment to catch up with a great friend. We're at the Q-SYS booth, and we are here at InfoComm 2026. Now, if you remember, we just had a team of executives from Q-SYS, Patrick Heyn and Jason Moss, on our Decision Point webcast. But now I want to see these products in person, especially that new bar we're going to talk about. I see Patrick over here.

Come with me, let's catch up with Patrick.

Patrick Heyn: Oh, I didn't see you there, this wasn't planned at all.

Craig Durr: Patrick, good to see you. I am so excited because you and I had a chance to get really in the weeds as we talked about a whole RoomSuite value proposition, including a new product coming along as well.

Patrick Heyn: Yes, I'll remind everybody, ground everybody in the present reality. Let's talk about the whole idea of bringing this to scale. As you know, Q-SYS is known for high-impact spaces, for communal spaces. This is where big systems are, this is where we cut our teeth. You can take those snowflake rooms and make them very operational. Name it, we can build it.

But of course, we were leaving things on the table for those end customers that just want a singular platform to do more simplified rooms. So we completed that story, that spectrum of collaboration solutions, with the introduction of RoomSuite, and we started in January with RoomSuite Modulars.

Craig Durr: And you and I talked about this in Barcelona at ISE, right? But remind me about what we have here right now.

Patrick Heyn: So for those rooms that are simplified but have a little bit of nuance. Let's say you've got a whiteboard that you can't pick up with a bar. So you have an integrated processor that's also a network switch, it's also video routing, it's also a USB bridge. We've consolidated three boxes into one.

Craig Durr: You've got a lot here.

Patrick Heyn: Yes, there's a lot here. And then, like I said, we've got an extension that sits at the table, and it's representing those rooms that have a little bit of nuance. You have a preference on a microphone, you don't want to use that onboard microphone if you don't want to, or you have a preference on cameras, or you've got a weird-shaped room. RoomSuite Modulars gives you simplified solutions with a little bit of nuance.

Craig Durr: And you also have a management control plane, and a setup element to this as well.

Patrick Heyn: Exactly, this was actually our first foray into a system that is not designed in Q-SYS Designer software. Completely, it's not even designed, it's configured on a web browser, and within a couple of minutes you're up and running. So we're talking about a simplified management deployment story here, and you've taken all this goodness you have from these high-impact rooms and brought it down to these rooms that have a little bit more scale to them. But the story's not done yet. There are still those super, super simplified, super scalable rooms, and now we have a solution.

Craig Durr: Hey, I know this solution because you and I talked about it just a while ago. We're talking about the RoomSuite bar, right? Let's go see it.

Patrick Heyn: Oh, we're going to do it now? Okay, before we go in here for the grand finale, I can't not show you this. This is a brand new Q-SYS scheduling platform. We talked about this.

Craig Durr: We did.

Patrick Heyn: An 11-inch panel, it's built on MDEP. We recently joined the MDEP program. An 11-inch panel, and the best part is it's not just relegated to RoomSuite, you can use it with any Q-SYS platform.

Craig Durr: So this is just another example of the Microsoft partnership, and the depth that you're going through just keeps going.

Patrick Heyn: It keeps going.

Craig Durr: I love this MDEP solution, but let's see this one.

Patrick Heyn: Okay, this is the grand finale. This is the one you've been telling me about. The completion of our collaboration spectrum. This is the Q-SYS collaboration bar. So obviously this is certified for Microsoft Teams, and it's going to deliver a highly simplified way to address those collaboration spaces that are scalable, non-nuanced, and easy to install.

Craig Durr: And I love this because it ties into the whole management platform, but at the same time, you guys did not skimp on the technology going into this. The camera in itself is a beautiful camera. Total cameras, four cameras.

Patrick Heyn: Four cameras, quad, and each of those cameras is 50 megapixels. So do the quick math, and it allows us to do all of the scaling and tiling features you would expect from a simplified scaling solution. And again, it comes with a controller as part of the bundle. You buy the controller, and for those who are aware of Q-SYS Designer software, you're not programming anything. And if you're using this in a larger room than this tiny trade show booth, you can use the accessory microphone, up to four of them, to extend the reach of the bar.

Craig Durr: So we almost have this modular story that plays into the simplicity of scale going forward as well. Now, when is this bar going to be available?

Patrick Heyn: This bar is shipping in late July. And again, if you've got the interwebs, go to qsys.com/roomsuite to learn about the entire spectrum.

Craig Durr: Oh, actually, there's one thing I want to talk about. This bar, we can't leave without talking about this. This is a Windows-based solution.

Patrick Heyn: Yes, obviously there are advantages to that Windows-based solution.

Craig Durr: We talked about this on our webcast. Remind the audience, tell me about the decision process around making this Windows.

Patrick Heyn: I mean, it's in the IT lexicon. This is a platform, an OS, that is used across enterprises. Windows is owned by Microsoft, and Microsoft develops for their products, so obviously a Windows-based bar is going to get all of those features ahead of those non-Windows-based bars.

And again, we have a legacy with Microsoft in terms of our abilities to control, so it fits nicely with the rest of our core-based platforms that let you do second-page experiences. So we're very much in the ether of controlling with Microsoft.

Craig Durr: And I love this because this is a prime example of, this is not just a partnership on paper, this is something you guys have done in synchronicity with Microsoft and what you're trying to do. I think it's one of the few Windows-based bars, so you get the controllability, the management, the feature parity, the feature leadership with Microsoft's Teams Rooms, built into the scale and simplicity of installation.

Patrick Heyn: We're pretty proud of that partnership with Microsoft. Actually, depending on when you're watching this video, we were featured on the keynote with Ilya. They featured our bar, he noted Q-SYS bars. It's great.

Craig Durr: I think you guys are checking every box with this. It's scalable, it's easy to install, easy to deploy, aligns with the Microsoft ecosystem.

Patrick Heyn: And every system, whether it's a bar or a RoomSuite solution, core-based solution, is available on Reflect, our cloud-based solution. So all that data in one place.

Craig Durr: I love it. Patrick, this has been a fantastic update, I appreciate it. So next show, I'm sure you're going to have another surprise for me.

Patrick Heyn: An exclusive

Craig Durr: An exclusive, we're going to hold you to that.

Okay everyone, this is Craig Durr coming to you live from InfoComm 2026. I want to thank you guys for this update. Stay tuned for some more updates from here, live from the show floor. Take care.
