Craig Durr: Hey everybody. I am Craig Durr, chief analyst and founder of the Collab Collective, and welcome to the Xperience Center Tour.
In this video series, we're going to take you to some of the most cutting-edge customer experience and briefing centers from the top technology vendors in the world. From my point of view, I want to share with you spaces that inspire me and hopefully inspire you as you figure out the way that you're going to work moving into the future, from leading conferencing technology to control to help people share content in the workspace. What takes place here is going to help shape the way that you work in the future.
So come with me, explore with me and see through my eyes these incredible spaces as we talk through what does “experience” look like in the future.
Craig Durr: Hey everybody. I'm Craig Durr, founder and chief analyst of the Collab Collective, and welcome to the Xperience Center Tour.
Now on this episode, we're actually going to take some time to visit with Crestron and the Crestron Experience Center here in the design building of New York City. This is an incredible space, and it's a perfect spot for a company like Crestron. Not only are we talking about technology that enables things like conferencing and residential experiences, but also in terms of large spaces and high impact spaces as well.
We'll have a chance to visit Crestron, talking (about) everything from their Flex Solutions to their DM NVX AV-over-IP solutions. It's a lot of talk here, and what I'm looking forward to is walking you through how this all comes to life in this experiential center. So come with me. Brad Hintze: Craig, we're really thrilled to have you. This has really been a labor of love, and we're excited to give you a tour.
Craig Durr: You know, what I'm looking forward to is–I understand this takes the Crestron technology and really brings it to life, right?
Brad Hintze: Yeah, absolutely. We have all of our technology where you can interact with it, from a high-end boardroom to flexible huddle spaces. We even have a full New York City apartment.
Craig Durr: You're kidding me, that's incredible. Well, let's not keep our viewers in suspense. Will you give us a tour of the space?

Craig Durr: Hey, Neil! Hey, how are you doing? It is so good to see you again.
Neil Fluester: How are you all doing?
Craig Durr: Thank you for that big Texas welcome from the guy from the United Kingdom. I appreciate it.
Neil Fluester: Welcome to New York.
Craig Durr: Hey, this is an incredible space. Brad had a chance to give me an overview about it. But I think you can show myself and the audience what it means to people who are focused on the workplace and workspaces. I mean, you and I both talk to IT decision makers. What can they expect when they come in to see the space?
Neil Fluester: Yeah, we love technology. You and I love getting involved in down into the weeds and speeds and the feeds. But really, what we want to do is bring those technology boxes and solutions that Crestron has together to create a solution to solve those workplace challenges, solve those workflow issues, and really streamline the way in which businesses can collaborate in the future.
So I've got a room behind me. Let me go and show you an overview and show you and take you on that journey to show you that great Crestron solution.
So there's never a one size fits all. Here at Crestron, we've got solutions from a large site line experience in a high impact space, right the way down to two, three people huddle rooms. No matter whether you're using Teams or Zoom, or you want to bring your own meeting with Bring Your Own Device, Crestron has got a solution for you. But we can show you all this great stuff and all this great technology through the art of video, but really, you need to experience this for yourself. Craig Durr: Well, Neil, what is this space right here?
Neil Fluester: Well, this is one of my favorite spaces in the Experience Center. This room is called “Wicked,” and it's wicked by name and wicked by nature.
Craig Durr: And what takes place in this magical looking space?
Neil Fluester: Well, all the solutions that we showed you here in the Experience Center are all shipping and available today. But in this room, we're showcasing some of the future technology from us here at Crestron.
Craig Durr: We're talking like NDA, whisper suite kind of stuff?
Neil Fluester: Yeah, maybe.
Craig Durr: Really? Let's go take a look.
Neil Fluester: Come in.
Craig Durr: I get to take a look?
Neil Fluester: Yeah, absolutely. And it’s great. Oh, you're excited.
Craig Durr: Oh, I'm sorry, but if you come in person, you can come see this. I promise. Please, come on.
Wow is all I have to say. This space is incredible. Brad, the way that you and your team have brought together technology and space into these experiences, it is absolutely incredible. You should be really proud.
Brad Hintze: Well, thanks, Craig. We are. We're very happy with the space and what it can mean for customers. Really appreciate the fact that you're so impressed. That means a lot to us, certainly.
Craig Durr: Yeah, it's a lot here.
Neil Fluester: Absolutely, we got the best products here and bringing them to life and bringing them to deliver a solution to our customers that solve all their problems in their workspace.
Craig Durr: I mean, if our viewers are just as inspired as I am, this is going to be an incredible opportunity for them. And I hope that you take the opportunity to come and visit this, and see technology in its space, in itself, and how you can experience it in a positive, impactful way.
