Craig Durr: Everybody, this is Craig Durr Chief Analyst and Founder of the Collab Collective. I am in Venice, Italy. Can you imagine that?

I told you I was coming here to learn more about one company I've been really interested in. It's called Wildix. Now, Wildix is the UC platform that you've never heard of, but they are in 145 countries. They have a large base of end users. They have a broad portfolio, and they actually have a great presence in the U.S. And I wanted to learn more about it, so I have someone here, Jason. Jason is the Chief Commercial Officer of Wildlix and based out of the UK.

And you're gonna tell me a little bit more about this, right? Well, here's the first thing, though, you don't sound like you're from London.

Jason Uslan: No, the accent gives it away. I am actually from the U.S… born and raised in Michigan.

Craig Durr: But being in London, you were actually there already working for another UC vendor, RingCentral.

Jason Uslan: That’s right. Yes, I spent 12 years at RingCentral, leading various teams and regions across the globe. I started off in the U.S. and moved to London about eight years ago.

Craig Durr: Right, so Wildix… tell me about this. This is a company, like I said, most people haven't heard about, but you guys have a pretty broad footprint. How many countries?

Jason Uslan: Yeah, about 145 countries. We're really focused in seven main geographical regions across the globe. We were founded in Italy, grew there, and expanded globally. That's exactly why we're here back in Venice. It's been 20 years of business, and we wanted to come back home to really relaunch ourselves as we're a secret in this industry, and I think this is a real opportunity now for us to really explode in the market.

Craig Durr: Now, tell me now, as Chief Commercial Officer, one of the really interesting things that you do in the company is that you guys are 100% channel. Now that's, that's a model that's been from the very beginning, right?

Jason Uslan: Yeah, we've always been 100% channel. We have always been 100% dedicated to our partners. It's the way that we've grown. It's the way that we have gone to market. We feel it's a real differentiator for us in this space

Craig Durr: And this is going to be across several different products that you guys have. We talked about x-hoppers.

Jason Uslan: Yeah, so x-hoppers is our retail solution that is really for front line workers in the retail space. We have XPs, which is our next generation UCaaS solution. We also have our collaboration, which is more of your PBX solution that we offer to our partners.

Craig Durr: Getting ready for this event, I've been working with your team on XPs. It's a great little platform. It's powerful. It's got all the features and functionality that you need.

Jason Uslan: That's right, not only does it have those functionalities, but it also allows you to go a step further too, with sales intelligence, allowing your sales to people be more efficient, and then embracing AI in a real way that is more of an ROI to companies that they can measure versus something that's just a nice step.

Craig Durr: I think a lot of your partners tend to focus on small to mid size.

Jason Uslan: That's right, Yes, a lot of our partners and our solution is really tailored into the SMB and mid market space. Our go-to-market lends to that with those partners that know those customers on a very local level.

Craig Durr: All right, so I'm going to try and bring some messages back to the audience when I go. What would you like me to explore and understand?

Jason Uslan: So I'd like for you to explore more about our go-to-market and how we are really working, not just behind our partners, but side by side with our partners, to be very proactive in their approach to the customer, turning them from selling products into us together, selling solutions in the way that we're doing that… and then to focus on our product, right? I think our product is very fit for the market. In this space, it's an underserved market that is embracing more UCaaS, more AI, more ways of communicating with their end customers, and it's a solution that is needed in that space.

Craig Durr: And being from the US, do you expect that I'll be seeing a lot more of you in the US?

Jason Uslan: Absolutely, we are growing tremendously in the U.S. We're experiencing growth there like we've never seen before, and it is a tremendous opportunity for us again with a product that is fit for that market.

Craig Durr: Okay, and now we're here. Are we gonna have some gelato? We're gonna do a gondola. Is it a gondola or a gondo-la?

Jason Uslan: I'm gonna go with gondola.

Craig Durr: Yeah, I think it's gondola, too.

Jason Uslan: But I can tell you, we will be surrounded by some Italians that will educate us.

Some of the tapas here in the region, the gelato, and obviously, the pizza, pasta…

Craig Durr: So we're not just here for all the food and all the sites, we're going to learn more about Wildix and bring some more information back. But yes, don't blame me if I happen to have an extra gelato along the way. Right?

Jason Uslan: No one's going to blame you for that.

Craig Durr: Jason, thank you so much for the introduction.

Everyone, this is Craig Durr, Chief Analyst and Founder at the Collab Collective. We'll bring you some more from Wildix's first analyst event here in beautiful Venice, Italy. Thank you.
