The Brief: Nureva and AudioCodes have received Microsoft Teams Rooms certification for a joint Android-based solution designed for medium-sized spaces.
Powered by the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform, the system combines the Nureva HDL310 audio conferencing system with AudioCodes’ RXVCam70 PTZ Camera, RXV200-ES Android Intelligent AV Hub, and RX-PAD-ES Meeting Room Controller. The setup provides full-room microphone pickup, AI-powered camera tracking, and room control through an integrated system.
Nureva’s Microphone Mist technology creates a grid of thousands of virtual microphones for room-wide audio coverage. Meanwhile, the RX-PAD-ES controller manages settings, calibration, and device updates, and the HDL310 connects directly to the RXV200-ES hub through USB.
The companies are also developing additional reference designs, certifications, platform integrations, and management tools.

Nureva and AudioCodes Launch MDEP-Powered Teams Rooms Solution
Analyst Perspective: The partnership brings complementary capabilities into one certified room system. Nureva contributes specialized audio technology, and AudioCodes supplies the video, processing, and control components. That division gives each company a defined role in the overall meeting experience without requiring customers to assemble the room from unrelated products.
The use of MDEP is also important because Microsoft Teams Rooms deployments require more than individual certified devices. IT teams need a consistent way to manage equipment after installation, so placing the combined system on an Android platform supported by Microsoft gives the partners a common foundation for deployment and administration.
The product combination also addresses a familiar distinction between room audio and the rest of the conferencing system. The HDL310 handles room-wide microphone coverage, and AudioCodes manages visual tracking, processing, and user control. The result is a complete room configuration built from technologies that serve different functions.
A Certified Android System for Medium-Sized Meeting Spaces
The joint solution targets medium-sized spaces and combines four devices into one Teams Rooms configuration. Nureva’s HDL310 provides the audio component, using Microphone Mist technology to create thousands of virtual microphones across a room. This design supports microphone pickup throughout the space without requiring tabletop or ceiling microphones.
AudioCodes contributes three devices that handle other room functions. The dual-lens RXVCam70 PTZ Camera provides intelligent camera tracking, the RXV200-ES serves as the Android Intelligent AV Hub, and the RX-PAD-ES provides meeting room control. The combination gives the room a dedicated system for capturing audio, managing video, processing AV functions, and controlling user settings.
The Teams Rooms certification also establishes compatibility for the specified medium-room configuration. For organizations deploying Microsoft Teams Rooms across meeting or learning environments, having a certified combination can simplify decisions around device selection and room design.
Room Control Moves Into the RX-PAD-ES
The RX-PAD-ES Meeting Room Controller gives users access to several functions through its interface. Volume, mute, and microphone gain can be adjusted from the controller, and users can also prompt calibration and run device updates. These functions are available without requiring a separate management application for the HDL310.
The controller works with the RXV200-ES hub, which serves as the connection point for the room system. The HDL310 connects directly to the hub through USB. This arrangement reduces cabling requirements and limits the number of network-connected devices that IT teams need to manage.
That design also gives the room a more direct control path. Instead of requiring users to move between separate device interfaces, common audio and management functions are available through the meeting room controller. For IT teams, the same configuration provides a way to handle routine device tasks within the room system.
Microphone Mist and AI Camera Tracking Serve Different Room Needs
Nureva’s Microphone Mist technology addresses room-wide audio pickup by creating a grid of thousands of virtual microphones. The HDL310 uses this technology to provide consistent microphone coverage throughout the meeting space. The design removes the need for tabletop microphones or ceiling-mounted microphone arrays in the specified configuration.
AudioCodes addresses the visual side through the dual-lens RXVCam70 PTZ Camera and its AI-powered camera tracking capabilities. The camera can track meeting participants to support a more natural visual experience for people joining remotely.
The two technologies serve complementary roles. Microphone coverage determines how effectively people in the room can be heard, and camera tracking determines how participants are represented visually. Combining both functions with the AV hub and room controller gives the certified system audio, video, processing, and control capabilities within one deployment.
Nureva and AudioCodes Build on Complementary Room Technologies
Nureva brings its established HDL310 audio system into a complete Teams Rooms configuration, and AudioCodes adds devices that cover video, AV processing, and room control.
The partnership brings together complementary technologies that address the core requirements of a complete meeting room. And the certification gives organizations a defined Android-based option for medium-sized rooms instead of requiring them to assemble compatible components independently.
The solution may be particularly relevant to enterprises, educational institutions, and other organizations managing Microsoft Teams Rooms across meeting and learning spaces. Its plug-and-play design also addresses the need to reduce dependence on DSPs, custom programming, tabletop microphones, and ceiling microphone installations.
Deployment and Management Still Require Care
A combined system can simplify installation, but organizations still need to account for room design, device configuration, network requirements, and ongoing administration.
Teams deploying the solution across multiple spaces should establish consistent installation and update procedures. Also, training staff on the RX-PAD-ES interface can also help ensure that routine room tasks do not require unnecessary IT intervention.
The Next Stage for the Partnership
The joint certification provides a foundation for further collaboration between Nureva and AudioCodes. Both companies are also developing reference designs, certifications, platform integrations, and management tools.
Future progress will depend on how these additions connect with the existing Teams Rooms ecosystem and how effectively the partners maintain a simple experience for IT teams managing multiple rooms.
For organizations seeking certified Android-based Teams Rooms hardware, this solution gives them another integrated configuration to consider.
