The Brief: Google Cloud has introduced Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services and Gemini Enterprise for Legal, two industry solutions built on the Gemini Enterprise platform. Both are available in preview and designed for regulated workflows requiring secure access to enterprise data, specialized skills, connectors, and agentic task execution.
The financial services offering includes the Financial Research agent, 50 foundational skills, data connectors, and workflows for advisor insights, KYC research, portfolio risk analysis, credit research, and bond issuance.
Meanwhile, the legal offering provides legal skills, MCP connectors, and agents for regulatory monitoring, DSAR response, contract review, playbook creation, document redaction, and NDA drafting.
The two offerings connect with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 and support partner integrations.

Analyst Perspective: Google Cloud is taking Gemini Enterprise into more specialized areas of professional work. The new financial services and legal offerings give organizations industry-specific skills, data connections, AI agents, and governance controls designed around the way these teams already work. This gives Gemini Enterprise a more defined role within industries where AI needs to work with specific information and processes.
The Financial Research agent is an important example. It can provide confidence scores, research methodologies, data snapshots, and source citations, giving users more information to review the basis of its outputs. For financial teams, these features can make AI-generated research easier to check and use in workflows where accuracy and traceability matter.
Gemini Enterprise for Legal applies the same concept to legal work, with capabilities built around firm playbooks, permissions, legal research, contracts, and other document-heavy tasks. Google is building on one enterprise platform while adapting its capabilities to the needs of different professions.

Google Cloud designed its financial services offering to support research-heavy work across banking and capital markets.
Its Financial Research agent can work with PDFs, Excel files, and SEC filings, helping teams bring information from multiple sources into the same workflow. The release identifies use cases, such as finding ultimate beneficial owners, analyzing portfolio risk, identifying potential mispricing in credit markets, and preparing materials for bond issuance.
Secure MCP connections also allow the platform to work with licensed financial systems while maintaining existing access rights. And available connectors include Daloopa, FactSet, Finnhub, Fiscal.ai, Guidepoint, S&P Global, Moody’s, MSCI, PitchBook, SEC Edgar, and Dun & Bradstreet.
Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services is currently available in preview, with Deutsche Bank and CME Group involved as design partners during development.

Gemini Enterprise for Legal brings AI into legal work that depends on confidential information, firm-specific knowledge, and strict access controls. Its specialized skills support tasks such as contract review and redlining, regulatory monitoring, legal research, data subject access requests (DSARs), playbook creation, and document drafting.
Through MCP connectors, agents can work with the document management, e-discovery, research, and legal technology systems that legal teams already use. Google lists integrations with iManage, NetDocuments, Docusign, Everlaw, RelativityOne, HighQ, CourtListener.com, Courtroom5, Harvey, Solve Intelligence, and Legora.
The system also keeps existing permissions in place, including document-level controls and ethical walls. Deloitte and Eudia Knowledge provide additional partner agents, while Cleary Gottlieb, Freshfields, Weil, and Williams & Connolly contributed industry input during development. Gemini Enterprise for Legal is currently available in preview.
Governance Connects Enterprise Controls With Everyday Applications
Both Gemini Enterprise offerings include governance tools designed for IT and risk teams. These controls include VPC, customer-managed encryption keys, private data isolation, and traceable citations that help organizations verify AI-generated information.
Google also states that customer data, business rules, intellectual property, custom agents, and model outputs remain private and are not used to train or fine-tune its foundation models.
Moreover, the solutions work with familiar workplace applications. Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services can connect with Docs, Sheets, Slides, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, while Gemini Enterprise for Legal works with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 for communications and documents. This allows teams to use specialized AI within tools they already know. Google is also working with technology providers and systems integrators to help organizations customize and deploy these capabilities.
